BDKF - RECTANGULAR IN LINE DUCT FANS BACKWARD CURVED
BDKF is a rectangular in-line duct fan with backward-curved blades that installs directly into rectangular ductwork. It is designed for medium and high air volumes where installation space is limited - commercial buildings, warehouses, industrial and office sites.
Construction
- galvanized steel rectangular casing shaped as a duct section, connected straight to the ductwork by flanges;
- backward-curved impeller - high efficiency, stable pressure and low noise;
- voltage-controllable external-rotor AC motor - with a speed controller the output is matched to the system;
- motor and impeller on one swing-out unit - no need to dismantle the duct for cleaning or inspection;
- thermal contacts embedded in the motor winding protect against overload, phase failure and a locked rotor;
- maintenance-free ball bearings, sealed on both sides.
Installation
The fan can be mounted with a horizontal or vertical motor shaft, which allows flexible placement along the duct run. It serves both supply and extract systems; its pressure stability suits long, branched duct networks with filters and silencers.
Selection
Size is chosen by duct cross-section (for example 50x25, 100x50) and required airflow, allowing for system resistance. The variable-speed energy-efficient version is a separate model - BDKF-EC.
