BKEF - KITCHEN EXHAUST FANS BACKWARD CURVED

BKEF is a kitchen exhaust duct fan built to extract greasy, hot and humid air. It is used in the exhaust systems of restaurants, canteens, hotels and industrial kitchens, where a standard duct fan is not rated for grease and temperature.

Construction

  • single-inlet impeller with backward-curved blades in galvanized sheet steel - the aerodynamic shape gives a steady flow;
  • double-skinned galvanized steel casing with 25 mm non-flammable rock wool thermal and acoustic insulation;
  • the motor sits outside the airflow, so hot, greasy air never touches it;
  • maintenance-free ball bearings, sealed on both sides with long-term lubrication;
  • opening cover for cleaning the impeller and a condensate drain.

Operating parameters

The fan is rated for air up to 120ºC. Thanks to the acoustic insulation it runs quietly, which matters for dining rooms next to the kitchen.

Where it is used

Commercial kitchen hood systems downstream of the grease filters, oven and bakery exhaust, and any site where the extracted air is hot and greasy. To size the fan we need the kitchen area, hood size and duct length - contact us for a consultation. Full technical data by size (airflow, pressure, electrical) is on the manufacturer's technical page linked below.
